Ingrid Rodriguez was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. At the age of 8, Ingrid made the decision to become an actress after participating in a friend's short film for a local church. Since then, she has been attending PASA (Performing Arts San Antonio) where she studies acting. She has also taken commerical courses with Vaughn Taylor and two years of vocalization classes at NYA (Network for Young Artists).
Aside from acting on the silver screen, Ingrid would love to attend college to become a film director. Ingrid also likes helping people, and although acting is her passion, her second career choice would be to become a doctor, specifcally a brain surgeon.
Working on Para Ellos was a life changing oppurtunity for Ingrid and really strengthened her goal of becoming an actress. She is currently in the sixth grade where she continues to hone her craft of acting by taking classes in drama and theatre. Keep your eye out for Ingrid in another short film titled My Love Michelle where she plays the lead role.
